Thursday my daughter was sick and had to go to OSU with me instead of going to school. While we were eating lunch in the Student Union, my daughter turned to me ans asked: "Mommy, do you know the principal of this school?" The students sitting around us started giggling.

I sometimes forget how simple things are to kids. I wish I could reclaim that youthful simplisity.

Enjoy your weekend and if it rains, run barefooted through the rain with your kids. The laughs will do you both good!

 Welcome to my page. I do not have a defined agenda. I will tell you things I find interesting. I hope you enjoy an insite into my crazy life.

 Just a glimps into the craziness of my life. Last night was open house at my daughter's school. When we got there, we did not sit down with the teacher and talk about my daughter or what she is doing in school, instead we were sent on a treasure hunt around the school. Picture in your mind a school full of kids leading their parents (and syliblings) all over the school, up and down narrow stairs. It was a mad house, and I still do not know the purpose of this hunt, other than to drive parents stark raving mad.

When I was in school, Open House was so parents and teachers can visit about the school year. My husband and I spent a grand total of 2 minutes talking to the teacher. We were at her school for nearly an hour.

Anyone have any thoughts on Open House?
